I loved that one too, i just couldn't reach a stage of being happy with it as it just seemed unbalanced. This design came through by accident/organically. I installed a stock version of wordpress and got posting with a mind to focus on content over form (for the first time). I quickly created a custom basic two column layout and got that uploaded. This was then iterated upon until we have what you see today. I didn't use the other designs mentioned as i felt they did not serve the content as well as this version. Thanks @Daus!
